The place
A little Venice carnival on Rue Monge
La Comedia is a family-run address in the Latin Quarter, on Rue Monge for many years. Just like in the commedia dell’arte, Italy’s masked theatre, the masks have made themselves at home on the walls of the dining room.
Outside, a corner terrace surrounded by plants. You will meet families, students, colleagues and neighbourhood regulars.

How do I book?
Call +33 1 43 37 09 70, or message +33 6 82 95 21 30 on WhatsApp with the day, time and number of guests. Booking is recommended for dinner and weekends, especially for the terrace.
Are the pizzas wood-fired?
Yes, all our pizzas are baked in a wood-fired oven.
Is there a terrace?
Yes, a corner terrace on Rue Monge, surrounded by plants and sheltered from the noise.
Can we come as a group?

Is there a kids’ menu?
Yes, the Menu Bambino at €12 for under-12s: spaghetti bolognese or a kids’ pizza, a scoop of ice cream and a canned drink.
Are there vegetarian dishes?
Yes: vegetarian pizza, margherita, gnocchi with pesto or gorgonzola, rigatoni al pesto, five-cheese penne… Look for the little leaf on the menu.
Is the food homemade?
Yes, all our dishes are homemade, prepared on site from fresh raw ingredients.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Cards from €15. We no longer accept cheques.

How do I get there?
107 rue Monge, 75005 Paris. Metro line 7, Censier-Daubenton station is a 2-minute walk, or Place Monge. At the foot of Rue Mouffetard. From the Jardin des Plantes and the Natural History Museum, it is about an 8-minute walk.
